Well I have a 9800 PRO overclocked to 430/360, I know that it is possible to flash the bios of a 9800 pro to an XT, altho I dont know how. How would i go about flashing the Pro to an XT? Also, would any computer read this card as an xt after that or still as a pro?

Thanks merlin, i have a new 9800 xt woohoo.... BTW was it worth me voiding my warrenty?

Well that really depends. You really won't see any performance increase at all aside from overclocking.

Personally I say don't bother with the flash. Just overclock your current card...unless you like bragging rights....then I say flash to a XT.

Oh, no performance difference? Forget that then...

Well there is in 3DMark03 but only because it doesnt fully render everything.

Just OC your 9800 Pro to XT speeds and enjoy. :D
