Hey guys,
I currently have a BFG 9800GTX (old rig), and just bought a whole new i7 setup. I am going WC for the first time. But I was wondering whether or not to WC the vid card, and implement wc to it(either a whole block or a small block w/ mem coolers).
The reason I ask if its worth it is that I see Nvidia will coming out with something new in Jan. I was wondering if I should wait till then to purchase a new vid card and watercool that. Prices may drop for the 4870x2 as well. Kinda save me money till then.

Was also wondering if anyone has experience with Danger Den's 9800 GTX wc block? I was going to use compression fittings(1/2" ID to 3/4" OD). 1)whether or not the plug holes are too close to one another 2) when compression fittings are used, how would I know they are going to crush or touch the card? Ive seen a few mishaps on a couple of people's setups. Namely compression fittings causing shorts.

Yup, wait and get the 4870X2 and watercool that if you want to.
