This is my GPU-Z report on my 9800GT/GTX. I am running on the Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe mobo. Are these settings correct ? This is my video card, it says I should have 2280MHz memory clock. Why does GPUz report half ?

Do I need to make a bios change of some sort for PCIe 2x ?

Thanks !

I forget why but I remember having the same thing with my 7900GT and it's perfectly normal. don't worry about it your card is fine.

1140x2 = 2280. you'd think Graphical Dual Data Rate Three would mean something right?

It's not a 9800GT or a 9800GTX... it's a 9800GTX+.

The RAM on your video card is called GDDR3, and GDDR stands for Graphics Double Data Rate. Note the "Double" part of the name. GPUz, spec sheets and web sites often list the real RAM clock speed instead of the effective RAM clock speed (which is double the real speed). You'll even see this confusion on sites like newegg, where it's random whether the RAM speed will be listed at the real speed or the effective speed.

PCI-E 2.0 has nothing to do with the clock speed of the RAM. All of the 9 series cards are PCI-E 2.0 cards and you don't need to do anything to turn it on.

Before you notice and ask, all 9800GTX+ cards are actually 55nm, not 65nm. The GPU reports itself to GPUz as a 65nm because they forgot to update the info that GPUz reads. You don't need to do anything about that either.

ddr = dual data rate...then theres ddr2 ddr3....
meaning that 1140x2 is 2280

9800gt is an excelent card. let me know if someone would like to trade 2x 9800gt for my 2x 7900gt. they are good cards as well.
