Just bought it, it says its 256-bit bus with 8-pipelines, hopefully the clockspeed/memory arent too slow but at that price even if its fairly slow you cant complain. Thanks!

Very nice deal.
I am very seriously considering this.
Get this, have it for this year and maybe get a new card in 2005 or something.

seems like a winner to me, specially after you overclock that bad boy...

I wish I had gotten it now, instead of this 5900NU. I waited and waited, should have waited a few more days. :(

Wow, that's a frickin' SWEET deal. I'll be picking these up for any gaming boxes I get asked to build anytime soon.

I see 9500np's still going for more than that so people can softmod them INTO 9700np's!

Newegg has the Powercolor 9700 Pro on sale for today only at the price of $190 with free shipping.:D

You're not going to see it on the 10th. Take my word for it, i frequent all the Hot Deal forums and this deal will be lucky to make it past 24 hours (now that its advertised here...) Someones gonna buy a ton of these cards and sell em on ebay for $140-$160 in the blink of an eye.

Good reseller rating too, up there with newegg and mwave.

*edit*

For some reason whenever I click checkout after entering my billing information, it just refreshes the page. Anyone having similar problems?

Too bad I can't pick that up right now.. If I had $115 on my I would snatch it.

I had that problem earlier, but it cleared up in less than an hour and I completed the purchase. This is an awesome deal and I still haven't seen it posted on AT or FW yet (good ;)).

Thanks for the heads up!

I had a similar problem in checkout and tried again with firebird and it worked fine.

They seem to think I ordered two of them rather than just one though.
Fired off an e-mail right back, so hopefully they don't bill me for it.

Maybe using IE before wasnt a good idea.

Haha same exact thing happened to me, used firebird, it worked, then got billed for 2 of them. 2xAA/8xAF here I come!!!

Theres been a large number ordered if it was a mistake they would have corrected it by now.

It seems that the multiple card 'bug' is not uncommon (hence people being billed for two); sounds like a website mistake to me, so does the IE problem I had in checking out.

They havent sent me a cancellation at all, so we'll see :)

And like I said earlier, its been three days.. Maybe other vendors will follow suit. I just hope its for real. And I REALLY wish I hadnt spent $169 on a 5900NU that didnt even work :(

I just ordered one and as mentioned before the page just refreshed I dont want to press the button again. Did the order go through or not  .

I guess we shall see.

Ok just tried it again and it went through fine with email conformation sent and all :D .

Hey jim, why did you spread this deal to the monkeys at AT? Now the whole world knows about this deal...

Z-Buy better deliver or else their rosy reselleratings score will take a hit.

I just recieved an email stating the cards are out of stock and they will not be getting anymore. They cancelled my order.

They claim they sold out, but I've yet to hear of anyone actually getting one. I received the same email, they should have at least given $20 off a 9800pro or something to soften the blow.
Another company goes on the 'never again list'

are those oem or refurbished?? u think thats still a good card?? this guy that lives 2 houses down from me is selling the same exact card. powercolor 9700np, with everything that it came (cables and games) for 160, but i dont know if thats a good deal or not. i've messed around with it in a few games, and it looks like it runs fine. ran some benches it seemed good. you guys think i should get it?

Check the memory clock of the card.
Powercolor's 9700np's memory speed used to be(don't know about now) variable.

well the default he said is 277/270 i think. he has a 2.4c with an abit mobo, pretty much the same system as mine. i ran 3dmark03 and got 5037, and aquamark got 35,136. is this normal?

the only problem is, about 2 yrs ago i bought a used ps2 from ebay, and it broke down on me, after that i never bought a used product again.

anyways, after the benches i played a few games.

1024x768 highest details and 4xAA and 8xAF

man CS was running at like 160-300fps, i dunno how thats possible but thats what it said.

Americas army, highest settings, i got 40-97fps.

well i played that leaked halflife2, about 4 levels and it was constantly over 40fps, which is pretty good compared to my shitty card 13fps.

and i played a litte bit of call of duty which is excellent, but i only played a single player mission. it was like 75+fps all times, but i really dont like single player games.

even after all this testing i dunno if i wanna get this card...i dunno man, just that one bad experience, makes me re-think all my purchases.

What I want to know, is how are you guys surfing the web with a car ;p ?

Nothing. I just thought it would be funny, if not at least a little witty.

damn, after a lot of thinking, i decided not to buy it. i think im just gonna get a bfg 5900nu *NEW* from newegg or something, i dunno man, i just cant buy used items.
