Will it be allrght without a HSF for a few days as long as I dont play any games and have a high CFM fan next to it? I was going to put a 120CM delta 200CFM fan next to but I will wait if I have to I don't want my card to die Thanks

I doubt it. You need to have some kind of heatsink on the VPU.

yeah my card was overheating causing my game to crash so I tried to take of the stock HSF on a Saphire 9600XT and I broke the pins so I cant put it back on  all I wanted to do was put AS5 under it Damn so I bought on of these it looks exacly like the stock HSF. Guess I will have to wait until it comes thats why I have more then one computer :D

It might function if you downclocked the core to like 150Mhz or something, but I agree with everybody else that it's just not worth the risk. The 9600XT also doesn't really have any kind of thermal sensors (just some crappy diode that "guesses" poorly at your card's temps so that Overdrive will work), so it would be really hard for you to keep track of the card's actual temperatures to see if you're in trouble.
