ok well i've recently been looking into home theater audio for my new computer and am now wondering: what difference will i notice between the two cards when i play video games i know that benchmarks show a huge difference, but consider that i will be playing Half Life 2 and Doom 3, but not many other games which (currently) demand too much of graphics cards...
they're both DX9 cards right? i'd love to have a card which lets me turn everything on in the new half life, but i'll be happy with a card which gives me playability without having to turn off all of the effects of the card, does that make sense? i may be babbling...
anyhow yeha i was just wondering, besides pure speed, what are the reasons to buy a 9800 vs a 9600...btw i am happy playing my games at 1024x768, and currently i'm using a generic dell geforce 2 gts w/ 64 mb ram so keep that in mind...
btw: do i only get the HL2 coupon when i buy bbati xt?
