9600XT stuck in PCI mode :(

chipset is k8t800, mobo is av8 3rd eye. I might do a bios upgrade or something. I remember the card and system were incompatible and caused serious issues..then I did..something to make it work, but smartgart has forced the system into PCI mode. This is obviously hurting my frames. Any suggestions? Perhaps a motherboard bios upgrade? I'm using the latest ati drivers and i'm all up to date with windows etc.
 
I've done that unfortunately. I think it's a hardware conflict. I was going to try updating the bios as that's the only thing I haven't done.
