I've been playing games on my pc for a few weeks now, There are a couple of games that have been crashing up expectedly on me.

Take Call of duty for example, I play it for about 30-40 mins and then it crashes to the desktop and its very bright and when im playing my joint ops demo it gives me a system dump message i dont know if its the game because its a demo or its my rig.

i'm just worried because every game i seem to play crashes on me and im just wondering if my graphics car is over heating or something like that.

any help appreciated.

it sounds like heat issues to me. try aiming a fan at is and see what it does

that happens to mine, whenever i minimize it its SUPER bright, but i have an antec on teh window pointed right at it and its at 30C all the time so heat isnt an issue, maybe a bug with the games gamma and the desktop brightness

joint ops is just a huge turd anyways but I think its a heat/oc issue. Is the 9600xt ocd at all ?

I just have the Omegas and enabled the overdirve to a crappy 526mhz oc it was 500.

I think it's a crap ocer so ive taken it off, I think ill download some testing prorams to see if it works correct, What are the best ones for testing the video card?

If the problem persists then im gonna RMA it and get a 9800 pro

EDIT: Looked at the drivers again and it shows the little temperature reading and its mostly at 31-37 degrees so im not sure if over heating is a problem.

Do you think it could be a psu problem?

you overclocked and voided the warranty, unless you can still overclock with your warranty if you use overdrive
