9600XT help fast!

I just built a PC for somebody with the 9600XT, and have the HL2 coupon. I've read multiple times that you have access to steam and the current games like CS, but I can't figure out how to get it running. I have steam installed, but don't know what to do from there.


Any help would be appreciated.

double click steam icon, start up steam (you would need to make a user ID using ur email) then login and it logs into the steam network, automatically updates ur games then allows u to play
