9600xt, 9800 pro?

Since Compusa has two very good deals, 9600xt for 170 and 9800 pro for 200, both AR, im going to pick one up. I realy would like to save the most money, and im wondering realy, will i realy notice any performance difference between a 9800 pro and a 9600xt thats worth the extra money? I do also plan on overclocking the 9600xt also. What do you guys think?
