9600xt 256 and farcry problems...

Hey all,
A buddy of mine just got a Jetway 9600xt 256meg from the Egg.

Problem is when in farcry and some other games you can see background objects through foreground objects, aka, trees through walls and such.

What's the deal? :confused: :confused: :confused:

Drivers... remove all old video drivers, then reinstall the Catalyst drivers.

Try that and get back to us.
 
Thanks for the replies fellas. He has done all that. It actually happens in all games he has.

We did a fresh install of xp pro also.
Here is total system spec...
A64 winnie 3200
Abit AV8
1gig ram
Jetway 9600xt 256

We are clueless. Card runs fine except for the funky foreground background thing.
May have to do a RMA, but want to make sure there are no other problems first...
 
Sure sounds like the card itself. Did you try any other card in the system to see how it was?
