9600xt 128 mb....problem with tv out...help please

im trying to connect to my tv using svideo -> RCA adapter...it used to work fine with my 8500LE...but i have a feeling since this card supports dual monitors some of the setting are all messed up....i just want my tv to show the same thing as my normal monitor i dont want the extended desktop....as of right now the tv isnt showing anything....the last time i tried this the tv showed my computer booting up and then disappeared again...

any ideas on how to get this working?

Okay, because you have not described any further steps you have taken to try and solve the problem, I will start at the beginning.

I am glad to see that it works with the boot-up screen... that means you have the hardware connected properly. Now what you need is to configure the driver.

Display Properties--->Settings--->Advanced--->Displays

See if your TV is shown as connected. If not, click on troubleshoot, and force display detection.

See if that works for ya.
