9600pro dual display issue.

I'm using a 9600pro with the 4.1 drivers and I can't get my damned TV to be recognized, it says it is but I can unplug the TV, turn it off and all and it still says there's a TV working. I'm using an s-video to composite adapter to attach it to the video card but I can't get it to work, I'm at my wit's end here. I didn't really know wether to put this in the video card section or what, so I aplogize if I'm in error by putting it here.
 
Have you tried a different TV? I'm not sure what your problem could be. Works fine here.
 
Man, my TV is about 15 minutes from getting a facelift from my boots, I cannot understand why this will not work.
