Whenever I play CS1.6 I get to play for about 5-6 minutes and then all of a sudden, my comp freezes the screen goes blank, and a the "not in scan range" (or something like that) pops up on the screen. I've tried 3.4,3.9,4.1, 3.7 drivers, and they just haven't fixed the problems. If anyone can help me it would be much appreciated. I just got this card today, so I have no clue what the problem is. Just in case you need it heres my specs:

ABIT KD7A Motherboard
AMD Athlon XP 2400+
2x256 Kingston PC3200 DDR RAM
350 watt power supply (came with case)
Memorex 52x32x52 Burner
80 gig hitatchi hard drive 7200RPM

If anyone can help post here or feel free to email me at Euric_hong@yahoo.com

Bump. If anyone can help me I really need some help with this. Another thing.

It seems to only blank out on openGL and not on Direct3D.

I would suggest you try 2 things right off:

1) disable fast writes (if it is an option)
2) disable VPU recovery
3) be sure you have the latest chipset (AGP) drivers installed

also... completely uninstall and re-install the drivers. I have the 9600Pro, and find the 4.1's work just fine. :)

Good luck!
