I got a BBATI 9600 XT (128mb) off the forums and its being rather stupid.
I'm running a Abit IC-7 with a 2.4C and windows xp that was freshly installed when I got the card.
The drivers that came with the darned thing run at 4x AGP and make it so that the card stops responding and I get a VPU error in games like call of duty and stuff.
So, I tried the new drivers from the ATI website, and they make the card run with AGP off, which makes games unplayable.
So, I tried the Omega drivers here in the ATI Flavor section, and it made the card run with AGP off, but Call of duty no longer stutters...
In the Bios, its set to 8x AGP.
Any help?
