9600 AIW TV out question

So I bought a 9600 AIW, really excited about it supporting dual monitors natively. I hook up my monitors, and then want to connect my TV. When I set it to output to the TV, no matter if it’s cloning the primary monitor, or being used as an extended desktop, the second monitor goes blank when the TV comes on.

So the question is, do any of you guys know how to use both monitors and TV output at the same time? Ideally I’d like to clone monitor 1 onto the TV while using monitor 2 for more desktop.

Is this something ATI has done by design? I’m running the latest Cats and version of Hydravision.

I've got two monitors, but haven't tried outputting to TV yet. I'll have to find some time and give it a shot.

you cannot urn two monitors and TV out at the same time. not last time i checked, and Look in my sig...

The card only has 2 RAMDACS, it can only display to 2 devices at a time. its just like OLD Geforce 3 cards that had single RAMDACS. Even though the gf3 cards had a vga out and a TV out, it could only do one at a time

I have the same card. As far as I know you can only run one monitor and one TV or two monitors at the same time.
