ok so o bought this card its a 9600 with 256MB memory supposedly... but i clicked auto configure when i was loading medal of honor and it comes up as video mem range 56MB... WTF and my games are glitching up and freezing, did i install this wrong? is there something else i need to do? could it be that im overclocking my cpu the wrong way? can i overclock my graphix card? my cpu is watercooled but my Graphix card is not.

or did i get jipped and inside my box was the wrong card (i did buy it off ebay).

my computer only freezes when running these games! is it unstable?

please help me out!

lol...

Okay, open up DirectX Dialogue and check the Display tab (assumng you're running XP).

If you've never used Dxdiag, hit Start > run > dxdiag

It'll tell you the memory on your card. That should calm you down.

Now second, have you tried removing whatever overclock you have on your video card, and then tried these games?

Third, Medal of Honor has some goofy things with it when it comes to hardware detection. It IS an old game, remember that. It probably will not detect your hardware properly, even with the latest patch.

Eg. It reads my Ti4200 128mb as a Ti500 with 64mb of ram. Graphics are still great though, and it doesn't matter what the game detects the card as, it'll still use all of the mem it needs.
