Hi I wondering why is my 9500 pro having screen corruption during boot up?
Here is the problem I noticed now, when I turn my computer off at night and the next morning turn it on. I get ooddles of screen graphic corruption during boot up it still appears in windows also.
If I reset a couple times,it goes away and doesn't come back till the next morning when I turn it back on.
So the graphic corruption disappears after say 5 resets,it's annoying.
The card works perfectly fine for games etc,no corruption while playing.
The model of Videocard:
ATI Radeon 9500 pro /flashed with the warp bios
Fan: Using Arctic Cooler Vga Silencer
How Long : I had this card since last christmas.
Overclocking : I did partake in overclocking it,but after reinstall awhile back I just left the thing at stock speeds.
Computer Specs:
Amd64 2800+
Msi Neo Platnium
512x 2 Corsair Value
Antec 3700 slkamb
200 Gig Maxtor hd ide
40 Gig Maxtor hd ide
2 120mm fans 1 in rear one in front
120mm fan Coolmax Black Taurus 400w powersupply
ThermalRight x90
Ati Brand Radeon 9500 pro
Happuage Tv tuner pvr250
I was thinking it could be a powersupply issue, but since i don't have any spare powersupplies around I couldn't tell. But then again the powersupply I have isn't going bonkers and no other problems with it.
Perhaps the 9500 is dying a slow painful death at the hands of videocard gremlins?
I have no idea,I just need some suggestions on what possible the problem could be?
I do what to upgrade the videocard, but not at this time if I don't have too.
Thanks for any help
