9500 pro screen corruption on boot up?

Hi I wondering why is my 9500 pro having screen corruption during boot up?

Here is the problem I noticed now,when I turn my computer off at night and the next morning turn it on. I get ooddles of screen graphic corruption during boot up it still appears in windows also.
If I reset a couple times,it goes away and doesn't come back till the next morning when I turn it back on.
So the graphic corruption disappears after say 5 resets,it's annoying.
The card works perfectly fine for games etc,no corruption while playing.

The model of Videocard:
ATI Radeon 9500 pro /flashed with the warp bios
Fan: Using Arctic Cooler Vga Silencer
How Long : I had this card since last christmas.
Overclocking : I did partake in overclocking it,but after reinstall awhile back I just left the thing at stock speeds.

Amd64 2800+

I was thinking it could be a powersupply issue,but since i don't have any spare powersupplies around I couldn't tell. But then again the powersupply I have isn't going bonkers and no other problems with it.
Perhaps the 9500 is dying a slow painful death at the hands of videocard gremlins?

I have no idea,I just need some suggestions on what possible the problem could be?
I do what to upgrade the videocard,but not at this time if I don't have too.

take out the video card and see if it happens with another vcard. it can be a number of things. btw did it start happening after u place on the VGA silencer? it can be ur agp slot, ur vcard and possibily ur monitor but i don't think so. also try taking ur vcard and pluggin it in another system. try reseating ur vcard into ur agp slot as well. also if ur about to give up. try a format. sometimes things just happen for no reason and after a format it comes back to normal. like my sister's comp couldn't shut down for some reason.i checked all the settings and it was correct but everytime i go to shutdown it restarts. a simple format fixed it.
 
My daughter's 9500pro had the same problem.. except that it did not do it while actualy in windows. Only during bootup. It turned out to be a bios issue in that case. Saphire customer support e-mailed me the bios file and flash utility for it.. Fixed the problem.. It could be a power issue though, since you are still getting the corruption in Windows. Only way to test that is for you to borrow a better PSU from somebody and try it out.
 
check to make shure the fan on the card is working properly!!!! also take off the heatsink and remove the shim around the gpu(Carefully!!!) my roomates died because the shim was keeping the hsf from touching the gpu!!!!!!!! same symptoms as yours!!!
 
I get this from time to time. Its a bunch of random squares of colors right? Its rare, and doesn't seem to cause any other problems. Whenever it happens, I just have to power off the PC and power it back on. I don't know what causes this, but I've used my 9700Pro for a year and a half now and it still seems to serve me well :)
 
This is what it looks like. This blows eh. If I reset it a couple times,then it goes away.
The next day it will either appear or sometimes won't.

I didn't try a another powersupply though,yet I don't think that is the problem.
The card itself doesn't freeze or have any trouble playing games.

I reseated the card,the fan etc.
Still does it. It's just annoying me,but when it's not there it works fine.

I guess I'm going have to get a new card.

I am having the same issue with my 9500 Pro (non-modded). I usually pull the card out, blow everything out/off with compressed air, and re-seat everything, and the problem goes away for a while. I was actually browsing the forums for upgrade ideas because of this, and found your post (search is a wonderful thing, huh).
 
Oy I had the same problem with my 9500 non-pro also Sapphire branded. Consider yourself lucky however as mine would never fix...my first video card dies within 6 months. How depressing.
