I've noticed my fps count have been dropping in games where they shouldn't (ie Counter-Strike, UT2k3, UT2k4 demo, etc) ever since I reinstalled windows. So far I've tried the Omegas 4.2 and 4.1 drivers. This frame count drop just seem really weird because whenever I first install the new display drivers, everything runs great, but when I turn my computer to standby while I go to classes then return, all my games run like crap.

Help anyone? :(

From what i have noticed, 4.1s and 4.2s do not runn very well with my BBA9500pro. I currently use omega 3.9s. From running bentchmarks, they provide me with the best performance.

Go to start run, and type dxdiag and check if texture acceleration is enabled.
And check if you get better performance from either fastwrite on or off. Becuase some people clam they get better performance with it off.

Btw nice clocks (382/307), have u tried running 3dmark03 on 800x600? Ull get very sweet results.

Thanks but that didn't stop the problem :(.

It's like my vid card doesn't like going into standby then back to windows. I just tried setting a bunch of features on my mobo back to default (my friend disabled a bunch of agp BIOS defaults), but that didn't fix the problem either.

Help? :(

Did you install your motherboard chip set drivers?
I have an ASUS A7A133 motherboard and its chip set is ALi. Im sorry but i dont know much about Abit motherboards. But this will make your card runn better if you havent done so.

Yeah, I had to install the chipset drivers to have sound and get on the internet :)..
