939

i posted what i think for air but doesnt the x2 like all 939 cpus have a cold bug or was that fixxed?

edit: fixxed spelling

The Hyper 48 is not even close to the best air cooler out there. Right now it's a toss-up between the Scythe Infinity and Thermalright SI-128 (with a high-CFM fan), with the Infinity having a slight edge. The Scythe Ninja isn't far behind, and tends to be a decent amount cheaper if you can find it in stock.

i was saying the hyper 48 cuzz im running @ 2.9GHz with 1.6v and my temps are only in the mid 30`s then agian i also put a higher cfm rated fan on it to

The best Air cooler is probably the Scythe Infinity, or the thermalright si-128. They're about tied.

The best deal is the Scythe Ninja if you can still find it.

Scythe infinity, thermalright xp128, and high cfm fan.

Ninja is apparently the best passive solution right now.

if u can find it the silverstone NT01 v2 keeps my P4 @ 4.05GHz pretty good temps idles 28c on normal days then on hotter days idles 32c. It also has a adapter for a socket 939

Scythe Ninja or artic cooler freezer.

Zalman 9500 is probably your best bet, as its easy to install, gives good temps and comes with a fan controller to control the speed to your taste.

Thanks.

Someone is getting one of those on Monday from UPS. He has a thread here. Look for "TEC assisted cooling" or something :p.

It's supposed to keep your CPU temps down to about watercooling level, without the need for water. Course, it'll pump a bunch of heat into your case from being inneficient. Ducted, this thing could be AWESOME.
