i dont know if this is my monitor or vid card ..


but there are two very thin black lines that run horizontally across my screen. one if about a 4th of the way from the top and the other is about a 4th of the way from the bottom......anyone know what these are?


they are verrrry thin but noticable. thanks.

They are aperture grill wires. They are normal for that monitor. What you're actually seeing are the shadows of 2 very thin wires running horizontally across the screen.


It's completely normal for Aperture Grill monitors. Just try to ignore them.
 
Yeah I have the Same Monitor, I notice them but I kinda like having them. It makes me relize I have the best
 
It can also help Graphic desighners keep everything symetric and straight in there art work
