9200 Softmod Help

I just softmodded an ati 9200 128MB video card. I was trying to get it to a 9500 np. Unfortunately the bios wasn't compatible and I went ahead and forced a flash. It didn't work...just gives me a blank screen on startup and a vga card error beep code. I tried putting in a pci graphics card and using the onboard video to get it working again by putting the old bios back on, but nothing has worked so far. It doesn't sense that the ati card is there. Is there anyway I can fix the card by putting the original bios back on or is the card just dead?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
 
flash it back to original bios. try using diff flash program. i.e. gigabyte one.
i dont think u can softmod 9200..
 
ok seriouslyu, who would even try and flash a 9200 series card to a 9500 series card? I'll be surprised if you can get it to work again. that was kind of a dumb move.
 
the 9200 and 9500 or two completely different GPU's. I'm afraid that mod will not work compgeekpro. : /

almost forgot to answer your question though, about the BIOS, so even force flashing it back didn't help? I hope it hadn't fried it.. check www.rage3d.com, the forums my be of help there.
 
i have a 9200 128mb cant softmod no matter what, its totally different from the 9500 so dont even think about it, just stick to overclocking man. did you try switching drivers reinstalling the drivers?. the would totally rape the 9200 even if the 9200 was OCed to MAX so theres a really BIG chance that you fried your card
