9200 radeon pci driver question

ok, so my friend has a radeon pci 9200 256megs, and he wants to know if he can use the vista64 drivers that show minimum of 9500 radeon. I think it should work

yes he is using a 9200 pci radeon with a Q6600 and 4 gigs of ram

The default Vista ATI driver works the best with the 9200, ran my machine for a few days that way while I was waiting on my video cards.

ya, but its not getting hardware excelerated, i can just run 2d at like uber low rez, 60hz,

I looked through all the .inis for the ATI vista drivers 7.4 to 7.8 non list the 9200 and omega doesnt have modified vista drivers.

He will probably have to go spend 30 dollars on a new video card.
