went oos about 2 minutes after slickdeals post. which is too bad. terrific deal, you see the wd version of this drive for $100 all the time.
 
Those type of HD based USB drives use 1" platters. The dimensions are listed on the product page: 2" x 2.6" x 0.5". Not tiny, but not huge either.

It's a great deal per GB for the price. If the specs at meritline are true, it's one of the faster 1" USB hard drives: http://www.meritline.com/samsung-6g-usb2-portable-hard-drive.html (Max at 10MB/sec) The cheap 1" USB hard drives are usually 3-6x slower.

I would have bought one or two if I didn't already have so many 4GB and 8GB USB flash drives.
