In short I am only seeing 538GB available to format in the Win2k3 setup where I should be seeing 2.8TB.
Mobo - Asus K8V-X (I know, not ideal, but I was working under a budget)
RAID Card - Highpoint 1820A 64-bit LBA (>2TB array)
-RAID5 Array giving a theoretical 2.8TB (7x400) with boot flag
-RAID Bios displays a logical 2.8TB drive
HD - 8x identical 400GB WD
It was previously set up as 5x400 (1.6TB) so I am pretty sure there is nothing wrong with the card. At first I thought the 538989MB available in Windows setup was a display error (a stretch, I know) but I allowed Win2k3 to finish installing. Viewing Disk Management confirmed a 539GB partition. Strangely, the rest of the array was not visable. I was at least hoping to see 2TB of empty space waiting to be formatted. Any ideas guys?
