8800GTS 512 vs 3870X2?

I have a Gigabyte 8800GTS 512 with an Artic Cooler Twin Turbo (very good cooler) a guy with an ASUS 3870X2 wants to trade because he wants nvidia.

What do you guys think? Should I go for it? I must say I prefer ATI, but I don't know if the 3870X2 is any good. Most of the reviews I find on google are very old and before the drivers matured and games supported crossfire/X2 cards that well so with modern drivers which is the better card?

EDIT: I found and read this review http://www.bjorn3d.com/read.php?cID=1274&pageID=4827 not very flattering. Says it's about as good as a 8800GT, not very impressive for a card that was twice the price.

I would say stick with what you've got.

A single card will give you less headache than a SLI/Crossfire setup and consume way less power.


Ask yourself why is this guy willing to trade if he's getting a poor deal?
 
He said he just liked nvidia more, but I declined. My PC is working fine as it is so I don't want to mess with it.
