8800GTS 320MB 3DMark06 Score?

Err who's score are you comparing to? I somehow doubt you are only 400 points shy of a C2Q system. >_>

I think he is comparing his 3dmark05 to someone's 3dmark06

I'm comparing to this guy, that looks like a 3DMark 05 score if you ask me, and his sig says it's pared with a q6600. I pulled almost exactly 12000 in 3DMark 05, he pulled 12466:

Got this running 163.69 WHQL drivers and running at the specs in my sig.

No that looks like a 06 score since he has a quad and 8800gts. I get 1-2k less using a C2D at lower speeds so that seems right.

06 scores rely a lot on the CPU, which is why 05 is much higher.

Well 6000+ @3.5ghz with my Aircooled A3/8800GTS320mb @704mhz/1728mhz/2016mhz...also im using the new Rivatuner and new Nvidia driver...XPproX64bit Os,Im still not @ my Highest Oc yet ,In my Sig ,because of the new Nvdriver ,but the 3Dmark scores are doing good so far...

By the way any A2 above 650mhz on Air is a good OC...

My first run @3.5ghz GPU@660/1551mhz/2016mhz Just before i ran the Benchmark ,I said to myself ,i wish i could at least see a 11xxx score or sumething better than 10xxx,,,Hmmm my score made me laugh so hard I guess my GTS heard me ThiNk .

I get Zero Artifacts ...Even after running 3Dmark06 5times back too back Im also looking to mod my heatsink for better temps,im actually affraid to pull my card appart because it runs so good "HEheHehe" wicked Overclocking laugh

Any one running a Ultrathe Ultra should outperform a GTS320 by about 2000pionts due to more Shaders 128 vs 96 and almost tripple the memory 768 vs 320! That alone is huge performance gain in FPS due to the Bandwidth and Shader performance

I just bought the card 4 days ago and also had alot of crashes and BSODs which i never had before with the older card.

As soon as I hit the shader test in 3dmark06 I get artifacts at 1728 shader on my eVGA.

For the score, I think it may have something to do with the CPU or memory bus. I have C2D E4400 @ 3.0Ghz (335x9) and 8800GTS 320 @ 610/1550/950. The 3DMark06 score I got was 9456, which is about 1k lower than most people get with similar video card settings.

Play around with your drivers...The Nvidia driver that comes on CD i would not use..I always download from Nvidia...As of right now im Running 163.75Beta driver for X64Xp pro ,its alil buggy so i cant get my full Oc back yet....

Your score is affected when your Pc is not running smooth ,driver ishues BSOD's are a sign something isnt right ... Try up dating DX9c and Nvidia Driver...Then after install Refrag your HD....Then Run a Bench.. right after setting the default 3dmark06 settings that are in the GLOBAL SETTINGS in Nvidia Control Panel...Should make a differance for ya...
