Well I did some upgrading because of the Damn Crysis game :)

Specs Before

-E6400
-BFG 8800GTS 640MB OC2
-2gb 533mhz memory
-37" Westy 37w3 1920 x 1080 rez

With this setup I completed Crysis at native rez of 1920 x 1080 but had to set everything to low and averaged around 30 FPS.

3dMark06 8120 With a Mild overclock 650/960 8454

Specs Now

E6750
BFG 8800Gt 512MB OC SLI
Same -2gb 533 Memory (4gb G Skill on the way)

3dMark06 10,433 8800GTS 640MB 650/950
3dMark06 10,958 8800GT 512MB 650/950
3dMark06 12,376 8800GT 512MB SLI Stock

Now with Crysis I can play on Medium WTF :( Spend $600 for 1 bump in quality!

Does anyone think this is a little Low? I will be re-installing Vista Ultimate shortly. I'm currently running the latest 169.25 drivers.

sorry i dont have fps numbers but i play on everything high at smooth framerates. only once it got choppy when i had 5 or 6 people shooting at me and the whole beach behind them. audio/character mouths always out of sync a few sec into videos  besides those problems its smooth as butter. vista home premium 32-bit btw

Dude. Crysis is not optimized for SLI. Wait for patch #1 due out the end of January for SLI performance. If I was to guess I'd predict we will see an 80% increase in performance with SLI in Crysis once that patch comes out. Right now I get like 20%. It sucks, I know. Just be patient.

Also, in Crysis, I suggest running it in DX9, preferrably in Windows XP.

I think you are supposed to get 40 FPS on Crysis when playing at 1920 x 1200 on very high with sli'd 8800gt. That was with a q6600 though, so I am not sure.

I can play crysis with most settings on high couple on medium at 1920x1200 with a single 8800gt, I run in the 20's fps. bump your ram to 4gb also with vista may help. I run vista home premium 64bit.

That seams a little off to me.

OP. I get almost 13,000 with one 8800GT and I have the same processor. Are you running it stock? If so, OC that beast

I have crap memory right now. I can't even bump the FSB up 10 mhz without instant lockup. I just ordered 4gb of G.Skill 1066 memory.

Whats everyones opinion on Vista 32 or 64? I picked up some new HD's on Black Friday so I'm going to dump the loud Raptor and install the seagate 500gb drive so I need to nuke everything soon.

I'm running a dual boot with XP Pro and Vista Ultimate so I have both disks. Only thing that BLOWS in the dual boot is I have a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard so I have to re-set everything up in each OS :(

Can't use the 4 gigs of ram you just ordered with a 32 bit os so thus go 64 for Vista. I'm running 32 bit XP for daily things/gaming and 64 bit Vista for when i need the more then 2.75 gigs that XP sees! :p
