8800GT Rivatuner Duty Cycle

Im trying to use Rivatuner to change the default behavior for the fan cycles. However it wont let me change the values in Rivatuner. Any ideas to what im doing wrong, and also what values do you all run on these?

By default they are read-only. In order to change them, you have to set
AutoFanSpeedControl to 3 under RivaTuner\Fan in PowerUser.

The 3rd post explains how to calculate numbers suitable for different situations. It works quite well for me. Mine is 53c on idle, and 58c on load with cycle duty 54%~57% (I have a side case fan.) Without the case fan, on load is 65c with cycle duty 98%~100%. Still not too bad. BTW, mine has the larger stock fan.

Vashypoo...read this article, it is very explicit about how to use Rivatuner for fan speed profiles, it works GREAT.

Thank you very much for your help. I knew the option was in the advanced settings, but was unsure what variable to change =]

Edit, I tried that other method but I liked the option of having it control itself a little more for some reason.
