Nope. Its better than what you had, but not as good as a 9800 GTX+. More like a 9800 GTX. Or sits between an HD 4830 and an HD 4850 to put it another way.

It's roughly equal once OCed a bit. Much faster than a 4830. Faster than a 4850 at higher resolutions.
