These are my specs. I know the topic was very vague. Nothing was overclocked. You don't have to have the EXACT same setup but I want to have an idea of my PC's performance.

CPU: Intel c2d e6750
Mobo: Gigabyte P35 - DS3R
Ram: 2GB OCZ 4-4-4-12
Vid: evga 320mb 8800 gts

My 3dmarks06 was 7959.

Why do I want to know this? The thing is when I first bought this computer, I got 200+ fps in source. Now, when I go into Counter-strike source 640*480 resolution with ALL lowest settings, I get an unstable 35-150 fps... I was in a dust2 server and i was at a stable 70!!! My old computer (3.2 ghz with 128 mb ati radeon 9200) achieved nearly the same fps!

Whats happening to my computer? Btw its 2 months old.

Could I borrow your 8800GTS? :D

You do mean 3DMark06, right? Cuz I get higher than that in 3DMark05 with my 78GT! :p

I am having similar weirdness with my just built pc and was wondering why I was getting such low scores in 3dmark06

my pc:
8800gts 640mb evga overclocked via rivatuner to 693/1003
evga 680i mobo
e6750 @ 2.66 (not overclocked)
2x1024 crucial ballistix memory

my 3dmark score is 85xx

I think this is lower than it should be even though I am running windows vista ultimate x64..

any thoughts??

i would appreciate it if u guys can help us out =D. Are you planning to contact evga support btw?

I got 10,000 with my setup. I made my superclocked a super superclocked.

Open cpu-z and make sure ur pci e link width is x16. I was having a bad 3dmark06 score as well because my width was x2 >.< I changed the pci-e slot and now it is x16, card running great xD
