I know most people still dont have theirs but soon they will and some already have theirs in hand. So lets do this. Id go first but I dont have mine yet. :p

Brand:

Model:

Core/Shader/Memory

Little too early for this just yet I think... as you said, most don't have their cards yet, including some who ordered on launch.

YES BUT THOSE NVNEWS GIRZ HAVE A THREAD LIKE THIS AND I WANT OURS TO BE BIGGER OK NOW LET DO THIS. :D:D:D:D:D:D

Brand: Evga
Model: KO
710/1750/1015 (2030)

Cooling: KuFormula VF1+ & Antec Spot cool.

EVGA KO 8800gt.

Core: 700

Memory: 2000

Havent tried any higher, figured i would get it to SSC levels and be happy :) hey it plays hellgate london in dx10 fine :)

So I completed my new system build today (in sig) and decided to mess around in RivaTuner a little bit. I haven't OC'd a card in YEARS and didn't really put much time into it tonight.

I didn't touch the memory clock speed yet, just core and shader. I didn't even do core/shader independently.

EVGA 8800GT SC.
718/1795/950.
Cooling is stock, fan speed wasn't even altered. Is that a decent number? I'm kind of a noob when it comes to this. I used ATI Tool a couple of years ago but that was about it.

Ran 3DMark06 and got over 12k, then over 11k the second time. I forget the exact numbers. I still need to do a lot of tweaking but want to do research first.

I'm gonna have to agree with you. Reason I didn't do a lot of tweaking is because I'm happy with it. I've tried a few games and run them all at max settings 1920x1200, except for Crysis, of course, but that still runs nice and looks great.

I was going to do the same as you, but I'm a little confused. When you say "memory" are you talking about the shader clock? My "memory" below that in RivaTuner won't even go up to 2,000. Tried putting the shader clock to 2,000 and it didn't hold up. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

2 evga superclocks - separate, no sli board yet

stock cooling, closed case, ip35 pro, mushkin 750w

740/1850/1020 - both cards. core/shader linked. first try. will try for more this weekend.

Nice!

I just bumped mine up to 736/1840/1000 but for some reason my 3dMark06 score wasn't as high as before. In fact, I think it was highest at 700/2000. Not sure why.

Naw left the shader clocks the same, Ram came at 1950mhz, put it to 2k, core came at 675, put core at 700, Same clocks as the SSC evga.

Its plenty for right now imo, but maybe ill see what I can get on air with my antec 900 case.

I don't understand. Why are some of us at ~1,000 memory and others at 2,000?

The Antec 900 owns. This thing has been on for the last 15 hours or so, mostly running games and benchmarks and there is seriously cold air still coming out of the case. It's a little loud with all the fans on high, but it's worth it.

its ddr (double data rate). so the rate you put it at is X2. some people are saying the rate the put it at, others are stating what it is when doubled. there's nothing wrong here

Posted this on a Swedish Forum and thought ill post it here too.

OC on 8800GT works as OC on 8800GTS except the frequency steps has som differences.

Well, here u go!

So when you played Crysis at 1920x1200 with 700MHz core - what fps did you get? was it payable? What cpu do you have?

I am hitting 720 core / 1785 shader / 1000 memory no trouble.

I am using a slot cooler and my room is also ACed. Temps are about 52 C idle and 70 load.

Got the core up to 740mhz core, and ram at 2080, and its rock stable.

Dont think i want to try it anymore, yea i have a lifetime warrenty, but i want to play for a LIL bit longer lol

EVGA 8800gt KO

BFG 8800GT OC
720/1804/2050 - Not quite sure if it's completely stable though

Fan is set to 70%

eVGA 8800GT SSC

744/1860/1950 - Ram won't overclock much, but got a good OC on the core. This is using the Accelero S1 cooler and a 120mm fan.

Q6600 @ 3.15, 1.53v
2x eVGA 8800GT KO 512MB in SLI, with Thermaltake ND1 HSF's
2 hard drives
eVGA 680i NF68-A1 SLI motherboard
4x1GB RAM sticks
7 120mm case fans, plus two 80ish-mm fans that the aftermarket coolers use
Optical drive
X-fi sound card
Corsair HX 520w PSU

Results so far (will update later with more) Crysis several-loop stable + 3dmark06 stable + ATItool stable: 742core/1836shader/2100ram :D! Quite nice!

EDIT: You can see the cards with these coolers mounted on them in my pics (~100kbytes each, 56k):

The air actually makes it out the back very well, despite the small gap.

You're using SLI with a 520w PSU?

I have that exact same PSU, I didn't think there was any way we could run SLI with it??

Yep, sure am. It's a quality PSU, general consensus from when I asked around was that it could... the GT's have a low power consumption, in SLI they take only a bit more than a single GTX: http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=3140&p=13 I was surprised too and thought a heat issue initially was a PSU issue, but it wasn't thankfully.

What is the best utility to overclock my 8800GT in Vista?

I hear references to ATItool but the latest version I find for that is dated June of this year?

Excellent! Now I just need a SLI-capable motherboard. :D

RivaTuner 2.06 works perfectly for me under Vista 64-bit :) ATItool is really just to stress thanks to its spinning cube and artifact scan, for temperature. It doesn't let me overclock here. RivaTuner has full graphs/etc./overclocking/stock-fan-control tools that work on the 8800GT 512's however.

I actually switched motherboards specifically for the (at the time) upcoming release of these... I knew I would want them in SLI, hehe :D.

Currently testing 710/1775/950

ATi Tool looks stable. Fan speed is set to 70%, stock cooler is creeping up in temps slowly... I hope it's not like the 7800GTX I had that took like 10 minutes to top out at 81C...

Edit: Now at 6 minutes only ATi Tool and at 68C, not bad at all. Fan is a bit loud though at this setting.

eVGA 8800GT KO 740/1836/2066 w/ stock cooling.
I will try for more once I get a good waterblock for it.
Any suggestions?

Are you using AtiTool to find max and then using Rivatuner to set it? Or are you saying AtiTool doesn't do the "find max core" with Nvidia cards or Vista 64 or what?

2 x evga 8800gt in SLI
650/950 totally stable in Crysis.
800/1000 totally stable in everything else except Crysis.

Current SLI setup (both cards enabled) with 1:1 RAM @ 5-5-5 1T and the ND1 coolers:

cpuoverclockslipn1.jpg

750 core

2000 ram

Still wont go above 71c

Might try the 775 mark see how it goes.

God i love these 8800gt's
