8600gt for Shellshocker WED am

hmmmmm, not a bad looken card and for $25 in the end, not bad
 
I would say the 8400GS for $13.50 w/FS on eBay would be a better backup card (especially for the money).

Don't really think you can get much Folding on either but I'm not sure about the 8600.
 
Be warned too that the tiny little fan on there can VERY EASILY get clogged, stop spinning, and fry your card (little experience with a XFX 8600GT doing just that) in the middle of a WU...

Since these are going to be cheap (~22.00) a little planning and routine cleaning will ensure the life of the cards.
