So I overclocked my card just a bit, to 561/602 and my temps are getting pretty high. I'm on stock cooling so I dont really know what I can do with it. My temps after playing mohpa for about an hour are 65-70C.

Are these temps ok?

and

How high of a OC do you think I can push this 850XT PE on stock cooling?

oh and...

and recomendations on aftermarket cooling for this bad boy?
 
those temps are ok....if you want an aftermarket cooler get the zalman one (forgot the name)
 
I heard THIS one was the best but I could be wrong...

so I was playing mohpa for a while, and I had atitool on and I saw that my temps hit 90C then all of a sudden it froze... so I took the clock down to 560/600. Now it seems to play better.

I heard on some forums that they were hitting 600/600, has anyone actually done this before?

 
My card seems to be a pretty good overclocker. I can max it out with Overdrive to 587/614, but haven't tried anything else past that because I'm lazy. :D
 
my card can hit 605/630...but i havent tried it since....i only use that for banchmarking and the best game of all time: 3dmark05 ;) otherwise i leave mine at around 565/600 keeps the card cool and doesnt collect too much dust :p
