I just did a final upgrade on my AGP rig from a 9800 pro to a 850xt pe.
Using the overlocking tool that came in the catalyst control center, it gave me a recommended overclock of:
Core: 594 Memory: 614
From Stock:
Core: 540 Memory: 587
These clocks sound a little nutty, especially coming from an ATI driver. The highest Brent could the 850xt pe going back in the April review was:
Core: 554 Memory: 600
I'm just using the stock heatsink with a 120mm fan blowing from the side.
Are these recommended speeds realistic? The memory clock doesn't sound too crazy, but the core clock is really high! What are other people getting out of their 850xt pe's with stock cooling?
