Hello,
Here's the situation:
I currently have a RADEON 8500LE, i plan to upgrade to a 9800pro in about a month and a half. I currently am playing Rainbow six 3. i can run the game at max resolution and max detail, but on occasion i get some lagging.
When i run 3dmark, i get some snow during one of the parts (the one with the trolls jumping off ledges and hitting the ground). i get some slight snow not much.. i tried overclocking the card, i remember jacking up the clock and mem speeds somewhere around 50 MHz, i didn't get any snow except in the same part on 3dmark. Just a little little bit more than when i wasn't overclocked.
Should i overclock the card with ATItool, so that in the meantime before i get the 9800pro i can play rainbow six pretty decent even though i get some snow on only that one part of 3dmark?? Also, ATI tool never finds errors when overclocked.
Thanks
