my bro has a radeon 8500 DV all in wonder, whenever i play need for speed underground it lags like heck, i mean like the gauges are on the bottom one second and the next they are up at the top u don't see them going up, is it time for a new vid card?
if so which one do u recommed? 9600?
specs,
dragon p4x800 mobo
Stock p4 2.26 processor
512 xms corsiar
wd 120 gig hdd
 
9600xt or Pro would be a good place to start.
Although i have seen that the price of the 9800pro has dropped alot since the XT came out.
Really depends on your budget.
 
everything is on the lowest setting and it is still lagging, maybe he can play on my computer :p he doesn't play too many high graphic games+ it only happens in nfs:U
