850 watts enough for...

That should be enough, but watts really don't mean as much as the manufacturer of the power supply in question. What 850w model are you looking at?

I want to buy the Zeus, but the reviews out there on NewEgg do not paint it as reliable. So, I feel that if I but one, I'll be pressing my luck and may or may not get a good one. I knwo if I do get one that is good, it will always be good.

Better read your PSU review from a reputable site like jonnyguru than reading the review on NewEgg. Hardocp just starting to review PSU so there's not much variety yet.

Dual 8800GTX
e6600 O/C'ed
evga 680i
Bix 480 rad
655 pump
2 hdds
2 dvd/cd

In a word, definitely. The pump only draws 2A, you've only got one processor and 2 hard drives with your 8800s. The Corsair 620HX would power this, let alone 850W.

jonnyguru...(yes that's the 750, but the 850 should be about the same)...TT gets same score as SS Zeus 850. If you throw out the aesthetics score, then the TT is really better. In my mind the aesthetics are actually better as the TT is modular.

Here's another review from TechAddicts

This is what I was thinking too. I'd like to know what kind of system the Corair 620HX will NOT be able to handle?

I wouldn't recommend it for dual-processor machines, 8800 SLI with more than two or three hard drives, "extreme cooling" that draws a good bit from the 12V line, or quad-sli. Or R600 crossfire. Other than that, pretty much anything I can think of right now would work.

wuad sli would work. my psu's quad sli certified but i wont try sli g80gtx on it.

That's what I meant. The Zeus > Thermaltake. Etasis build is > CWT.
