Starting today and ending August 27th, Newegg is having a deal with Antec to give you a $20 mail in rebate when you purchase the TPII-550 Power Supply (It is SLI Certified). The power supply retails for $105 so $105 - $20MIR = $85. Thats about the cheapest ive ever seen it. Plus you have Neweggs great service backing that purchase! I know im getting one.

i cant find any reviews for this PSU, anyone know how good/bad thsi PSU is?
Tomshardware did a stress test on the "older"truepower 550 and failed because of large fluctuations on full load.
Maybe this "II" (2nd version or 2.0 compliant ) version is better

Thanks for the post, in the future, please post a link :)

This is appearently a Certified SLi Power Suply (scroll to the bottom)

Oh if only Antec would make all their PSUs modular like the Neopower...I want a neopower, but it won't do for my upgrade to SLI sadly. This sounds like a damn good deal.

I believe this is the same one that [H] had in their 1500 dollar upgrade guide earlier this year. It was around 89 at that point.

Are you sure a Neopower will not do SLI duty. That is the PS I planned to buy for my new comp.

I'm sure the Neopower will handle the load for SLI. The problem is the Neopower only has ONE PCIe graphics card power lead. You'd have to use one of those PCIe to 4 pin molex adapters for one card and the PCIe power connector for the other. That just doesn't suit well with my l33t case wiring.

SirHolio - I think it is that same one. It really ticked me off when New Egg raised the price of that power supply by $25 once HardOCP told everyone what a great unit it was. In the end, I bought an Enermax 600w instead when it was on sale, and probably got a better unit. But that Antec seems like a good deal for the $$$, if you don't mind rebates.

Yeah I know what was with that? One time I checked it, it was $89 then like a week later it went to $115!! Now it finally dropped to $105 then with a $20 rebate and free shipping, im taking them up on this offer before they raise the price again.

I have a neo power and love it ithink it said you can order a extra pci-e power cable to plug in to the psu ..so you loose a power cable then
