I use the 830, 840 Pro and 840 EVO (1TB version) and personally don't think reliability is a concern with these drives, they all work well.
Any drive can die at any time even if it cost you 2 grand, that is why you backup your data.
Be sure to use the performance fix tool on your drive if it does not come with the most recent firmware.
Not if you use the bootable ISO.You have to partition it and format it with NTFS for some reason.
Received my 840 EVO today and noticed the 850 Pro is on sale for $319.99!
Return the EVO and order the 850 Pro? $100 more for 10 year warranty?
