Depends on the board. If you don't have a sabertooth or chv, you'll throttle at 4.5. I had a gig ud5, the newer one with LLC (still didn't do what LLC should) and then the m5a99fx pro r2, and they both would throttle at 4.6 with 1.4v with core temps below 50c.
Gave up on it, and got a 3770k and z77.
