im on ide. sata is too damn picky in o/c the littliest thing can mess it up and currupt your install like you found out.

I don't think you'll have much luck without an AGP/PCI lock. That is why I upgraded to a K8T800 Pro motherboard. Most people only get to 221MHz FSB before their SATA drives corrupt.
