Im loking at going water cooling withint the next couple of month, and being a new to it i have a few questions.
Firstly, are 80mm rads any good? I know the 120mm ones are better and more ideal, but my case isnt that big, and i wouldnt have room to even mod it to make a 120mm fit. I have dual 80mm intakes though, so i was thinking about maybe getting something like a black ice micro II (dual 80mm rad). I'd be using it to cool my A64 3500+ (newcastle) and X800 XT PE for now and to do some decent oc'ing on them. WIll the BIM II be able to cool them to any decent temp, or isnt an 80mm rad good enough for this? Also, will it be ok pushing air though the rad? (as ive heard pulling is better)
I was going to get something like a koolance exos al (due to said space limitations), but having heard alot of reports that the GPU block on them isnt very good, i'd figured i'd see if i can get a decent DIY setup. If this rad will be ok, what sort of cpu/gpu blocks and pumps and such should i get (looking for the most performance)? Ill have about $300 to spend in total.
Thanks for any advice
