Just ran into an issue with the 800D and my WD 1TB FAEX SATA3 drives. Accessing the drive would cause lockups in explorer, or any application trying to use the drive.
What I didn't notice when setting up my system was that the hot-swap plates were SATA2.
So after bypassing the hot-swap plates and connecting directly to the drive everything is now working. I'm not sure if this was SATA2 related or bad hardware on the hot-swap plate.
Just thought id post this in case someone else runs into a similar issue.
