Currently the 800D is on Newegg for $260 with free shipping ( $235 after mail-in rebate )

The FT02 is on Newegg for about $280 with shipping.

I'm trying to decide between which case to get. I realize the 800D is primarily a water cooling case, while the FT02 is for air cooling - but I also have a package of four Gelid 120mm fans:

The 800D just happens to have 4 empty 120mm fan slots, plus it's about $45 cheaper than the FT02 ( after rebate ). I don't plan on water cooling in the near future, but if money were to allow it, I wouldn't mind building a water cooling setup. It's just nothing I've ever had the money for, so I've never ventured into it.

I need help deciding which case to go with

Hardware-wise, I have an XFX HD6950 and AMD Phenom II X6 1055T with a Corsair H50 cooler, with a SeaSonic X Series X650 power supply.
For drives, I'll be installing one optical, one SSD, and two mechanical HDs.

FT02, much better for air cooling, also great for water if you change your mind.

Those extra fans aren't going to help. You need direct airflow over the video cards which the 800D doesn't provide.
I had two 800Ds and went back to my FT02 last year and it was the best decision I made.

The FT02 can be watercooled also with a 3x180 rad from FrozenCPU.

I wouldn't get an 800D unless you were water cooling and had large space requirements for your hardware. The 800D, at least from a space point of view, is overkill for most hardware setups.

The FT02 will give you much better cooling and is a better designed case.

+1 for the FT02 bandwagon.

I had one, sold it for a TJ07, and find myself more and more wanting to buy a new one for a 3x180mm radiator setup...

I've got to admit, the 3x180 or even the 2x180 rad setup is looking damn hot right now. With those out the FT02 went back toward the top of my list of potential cases for WC.

Also, you might look at amazon, looks to be a good bit cheaper than the egg. http://www.amazon.com/SilverStone-Aluminum-Uni-Body-Computer-CS-FT02B-W/dp/B0030MHEKY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1323464620&sr=8-2

Order your FT02 from Amazon, it's $40 cheaper than Newegg and easier returns if you get one that has any problems.
