1) What will you be doing with this PC?
Gaming playing CS:GO. Heard more CPU intensive game and CPU more important than GPU

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$800 everything included

3) Which country do you live in?
Eau, Claire WI. USA

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget?
CPU, case, mobo, ram, monitor, power supply, HDD (doesn't have to be ssd)

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing?
EVGA SuperClocked GeForce GTX 650 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16
Optical drive

6) Will you be overclocking?
No

7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
Need to buy a monitor. Not sure if ASUS 144hz is worth it

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
ASAP

9) What features do you need in a motherboard?
Nothing specific. Would like a smaller case size than old PC (Antec 900). That microATX?

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license?
Windows 7 64bit

Yes the next step down would be mATX. So do you want to go with any of these mATX cases?
$50 - Coolermaster N200 NSE-200-KKN1 mATX Case
$79 - Silverstone PS07B mATX Case
$100 - Silverstone TJ08B-E mATX Case
$100 - Fractal Design Arc Mini mATX Case
$140 - Lian Li PC-V354B Black mATX Case

Yea I think those would work. Seems like they have good airflow. I won't be running 3 gpu's but still don't want any heat issues

Well... which case do you want to go with? That'll help determine how much money is left for the rest of the other parts.

EDIT: Oh and is that optical drive SATA or IDE?

See the edit. Also, are you planning on playing any other game besides CS:G0?

It is IDE. I guess I could get a SATA one they are so cheap now. It will just be CS:GO. my previous build from 2009 of Q6600 and 8gig DDR3 is outdated

Here's a prelim build:

$200 - Intel Core i5-4570 CPU
$75 - MSI B85M-G43 Intel B85 mATX Motherboard
$70 - Corsair CMV8GX3M1A1333C9 8GB DDR3 1333 RAM
$67 - Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s Hard Drive
$21 - LG GH24NS95B DVD Burner
$85 - Seasonic G Series SSR-550RM 550W Modular PSU
$79 - Silverstone PS07B mATX Case

Also, are you sure your current setup has DDR3 RAM? Did you mean DDR2 RAM?

yea it was DDR2. oops :). I am not familiar with seasonic are they a new company? I have a corsair TX 650W psu but after almost 5 years I didn't know if it was shot and would last

LOL! Seasonic is not a new company. They've been around for quite awhile now (since 2002 for the U.S market, since 1975 in Taiwan/Asia). They also make PSUs for other companies. In fact, your TX 650 was made by Seasonic.

Would a better cpu fan be a good investment instead of the stock one? I have $50 left :)

If your area or home gets really hot during the warmer months, then the answer is yes:
$27 - Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus HSF

This is what i'd buy on a $800 budget :
$20 Any piece of crap case
$100 Any Z87 motherboard
$50 Any half decent brand 600+W PSU with two 6-pins
$200 Haswell i5-4570K
$25 Hyper 212 aircooler - Squeeze that K series CPU hard
$280 CF HD7850 on par with Titan if squeezed fairly hard
$75 2X4 GB 1866Mhz memory
$60 1TB 7200 HDD

I run aprox this system (ivy bridge, not even haswell) overclocked and it beats the the current high end rating of 11.900 points on 3DMark11 (i7-4770K & GTX titan average)

*edit : U need monitor, skip one HD7850, it's currently $129 for acer 24" hotdeal on amazon, get second HD7850 off ebay down the road.

Also, goddamn I wish these were the prices for stuff in Europe.
