7v fan mod using extra power dongle

I am trying to do this with the extra power dongle so i dont void any warranties. Here is a picture of what im working with. Can anyone draw something quick in paint or something of what i need to do? Thanks sorry im a noob and i cant understand guides i looked up on google :cool: .

What tool do you use to pull out the wires you dont need and put the wires you need in the different locations?
 
do it the ghetto way. are you using a 3 pin fan? if so, plug the connectors in,if i were you, id use scissors and cut the shorter molex that connects to the connector in the pic you have. then plug the 4 pin connector thats hooked up into the fan into your tongle on the table, then plug the other end into the PSU and just the 2 black wires in the mddle.

or you can just pull very hard on the wire and see if it comes out, it will eventually come out most likely

you can go to silent pc review and go to the forums, fan and control, they have a sticky on it with plenty of guides
 
You can get a pin extractor from radio shack for about a buck. Or, use a paperclip to push the little tabs on the pins in.
