7k1000.d where to get it?

[Stupid_Newbie]

Well my order on two of these is back ordered. N c I x tells me they are discontinued. Newegg jacked the price and put a 1 per limit. Anyone know where to pick a couple up in the $70 range?

Probably impossible now, with the hard drive shortages.

OWC claim availability "same day". Shipping seems quite steep but the overall price seems lower than the egg and the limit is 5 per customer so no games with making yourself look like multiple customers should be needed to get your two drives.

I doubt you will find them for the price you are looking for though, the HDD market in general has taken a big hit and the most desirable models will see the hit hardest and fastest because they move through the supply chain quickest.

Yeah I spoke with hitachi today. Not discontinued just shortage. I'll wait out a restock

Pricegrabber.com shows it in stock at 3 sellers, plus newegg has them. Go shopping Even at 1 per place that gives you 4.
