I was monitoring this game through MSI Afterburner and it was showing the same gpu usage for both cards, but they were only running at around 60-85%. Just wanting to make sure this is normal. Running a 1080p monitor with a 2500k. This is with CAT 12.3. What is everyone else getting?

1920x1080 should run silky smooth and moderate usage even with the eyecandy on with those cards...

Im also experience this in BF3 (have not testet other games yet, busy with bf3, hehe). With fps drop and stutterly gameplay. I have a 2600k @ 4,7ghz and 7970cfx. Same gpu usage, can vary from 30-40 to 80 and sometimes up to over 90%, but that is not often.

Check my thread.

cat 12.3? you mean 12.2? 12.3 is not out for the 7970s yet IIRC.

It is. I think it's a beta. Anyways, I'm going to install some others and see. But it's a problem with many other setups like mine. I'm hoping a mix of all drivers will work. I'll see and post my results when I get a chance.

RC11 is still the best for BF3, and the 12.2 second best.. The downside with RC11 it that its missing application profiles which 12.2 have, but if you dont need it, go for RC11.
