7970 TriFire tested in Unique

Impressive results ...
But 3 x 7970 tested @ 1680x1050

Overkill ... :p

read further .... 2560x1600 still overkill :p

I ran 2 on my CX5850 setup and never seen the micro shutters that other people did..

using 2 bridges did nothing to diminish microstuttering. You simply don't know what you are looking for. Once you "see" microstutter you will always notice it when it is present.

Anything below 60 fps makes microstuttering very prevalent to me on a multigpu system.

No kidding! 8xAA @ 2560x1600 and still maintaining an avg of 72 fps /w extreme tessolation turned on?? Pretty nuts.... Mind you, triple GPUs setups are really expensive but that should allow you to pretty much max out the image quality settings to your hearts content.

100 in stock doesn't seem like very many, considering they are a pretty big retailer in the UK.

Yeah, pretty crazy. The below is equally impressive, if not more. Interest level getting higher and higher for me now. :)

Andrew Moore did some testing last night in his home system with a pair of GTX 580 3GB in SLI with a CPU clocked at 5.3GHz, compared to my CPU here at 3.4GHz.

However even with that CPU advantage and him clocking his 3GB GTX 580's he could not break 3000 points in the Heaven benchmark. Wheras the ATI Cards break 3500 with absolute ease.

lucky for me i can't see microstutter no matter what the frame rate is :D
